LEWANDOWSKI CAPS THEM ALL! A LOOK AT HIS 100 GOALS

With yesterday's win, Borussia Dortmund books their place in the final of the German Cup for the 6th time. Most importantly, Robert Lewandowski scored his 100th goal wearing the black and yellow shirt. Dortmund's all time best scorer, Lothar Emmerich, is just 26 goals ahead. Too bad "Lewy" has already signed for Bayern Munich for next year, and will therefore hardly be in the running to become the club's best scorer in history.

But what can numbers tell us about Lewandowski's adventure with Dortmund? Let's have a look at the most important stats.

STEADY GROWTH
Robert Lewandowski has scored 71 goals in Bundesliga, 18 in European matches and 11 in national cup tournaments.
Since 2010-2011, his first season with the German squad, his goal average has been improving steadily, going from 0.2 goals/match to 0.67 in 2013-2014. This season, however, he's lagging slightly behind, having scored an average of 0,58 goals per match, but he still has 5 matches to play to end his adventure at Borussia Dortmund with style.

MAKE IT "RIGHT"
Robert Lewandowski has scored 58 times using his right foot, much more than in any other way (just to give some other numbers, he netted the goal 17 times with his left foot and 13 with a header). Moreover, of his 100 goals, only 7 were penalty kicks.

JUST IN TIME
The Polish player has scored many more goals in the second half (61 vs 39 in the first 45').
In particular, he's proven to be a lethal striker in the last 15-20 minutes of the game (26 goals scored between 76' and 90'+).

NON STOP MACHINE
The longest rush this player enjoyed took place in the Bundesliga, between the 2nd of March and the 20th of April 2013: in this time lapse, he scored 9 times in 7 games.

MAKE IT DOUBLE…OR MORE
Up to now, Dortmund's fans have witnessed and relished the 25-year-old's scoring of 20 doubles, 3 hat-tricks and 1 poker.

Among his most memorable matches were the 2012 DFB Pokal final against Bayern Monaco, where he scored 3 times in his team's 5-2 win, and the first leg of the 2012-2013 Champions League, where he kissed the net of Santiago Bernabeu 4 times against Real Madrid. That's really something to remember!
